Sleep Medicine
There are more than 80 types of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia and restless legs syndrome. We understand that these conditions can significantly affect healthy sleep and this, in turn, impacts your overall health, safety and quality of life.
The Sleep Center at MountainView Regional Medical Center performs sleep studies on patients aged two through adults. Sleep studies at the Sleep Center take place in comfortable, home-like rooms that feature full-sized beds, cable television and a private bathroom. During your overnight stay, staff will monitor your eye movements, brain waves, respiration, limb movements and breathing. The program provides one-on-one service as well as follow-up care.
MountainView Regional Medical Center's Sleep Lab offers treatment for common sleep disorders, including:
- Chronic insomnia
- Narcolepsy
